The wonderful Mrs Rivet knew I was planning on making my annual salsa this weekend, and surprised me by buying me a new kitchen tool~ a heavy-duty Cuisinart food processor to make the slicing, chopping, pureeing tasks a breeze! Never had one before, and I now understand their versatility and value for high volume cooking.
Was unbelievably lucky in that it was delivered this morning. Can't ask for better timing
It sure was a dream making my salsa this afternoon. I'll post that in a bit once I get the pics loaded.

I thought that looked new in the other thread.
![]() That is an awesome kitchen tool you've just acquired my friend....wait until the first time you make pie crust or bread dough in it...it's unbelievable how quick and easy it is. I have a heavy duty Kitchenaide model, and there is no way I'd ever give it up. Great for making mayonnaise to, or pesto. You are absolutely going to love it! Congratulations! That's a good woman you've got there Rivet...better keep her around for awhile ![]() |

Congrats Rivet! I've had my Cuisinart for about fifteen years now. It shows no sign of fatigue, and I find new uses for it all the time. Truely a wonderful kitchen gadget!
